Product Information Database
We are currently conducting a survey on the public assessment reports which are
available on the VMD Product Information Database. VMD have been producing public
assessment reports (UKPARs) since October 2005. These have been made available on
the VMD website (Product Information Database) together with the Summary of Product
Characteristics (SPC) and Post Authorisation Assessment updates. The aim of the
survey is to establish the audience base and to determine whether the content and
style is appropriate.
This is an online survey featuring 21 questions and we would appreciate it if you
would take a few minutes to complete it. After evaluating the results of the survey
we will consider if any refinement to the template or detail of the public assessment
reports would be beneficial.
The survey is online now on the Product Information Database homepage and will be
available for completion until September.

Welcome to the VMD Product Information page.
Here you will find details of all veterinary medicinal products currently authorised
in the UK together with a list of suspended and recently expired products. Homeopathic
products and Specified Feed Additives are also listed.
You can use the A-Z listings to find a particular product and view the associated
documents by clicking on the + to the left of the product name. You can also conduct
a search against a number of parameters to find a product or group of products.
The information on this page is believed to be correct at the time of compilation
and is made available to the public for information purposes only.
If the information you want isn’t available on this webpage, please contact the
VMD on +44 (0)1932 336911.
If you discover any errors in the information please send an email to postmaster@vmd.defra.gsi.gov.uk
so that they can be rectified.
Please note, following a change to the terms of a marketing authorisation (MA),
the Summary of Product Characteristics (SPC) will be updated and published online
within 60 days following approval of the change; however, MA holders normally have
six months* to implement updated product literature for sale and supply, so there
will be a slight gap between a change being approved and that change being introduced
onto the marketplace. * This timescale may be shorter or longer
depending on the nature of the change involved.
Additional information is available in the frequently asked questions.
